Advinia Healthcare is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Deputy Manager (Registered Nurse) to join the leadership team at Golfhill Care Home in Dennistoun.

About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the highest standards of clinical care, compliance, and resident wellbeing are consistently achieved. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to the care and nursing teams, helping to create a positive environment where residents can thrive and staff can develop professionally.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance are maintained at all times.
* Provide professional leadership, guidance, and support to senior staff, team leaders, and care teams.
* Monitor and review care plans, risk assessments, and medication administration procedures to ensure they remain accurate, effective, and person-centred.
* Ensure all assessment tools are fully implemented, regularly reviewed, and utilised to support outstanding resident care.
* Conduct comprehensive pre-admission assessments, taking into account residents' physical, emotional, social, and psychological needs.
* Ensure each resident receives regular reviews of their care requirements, including a minimum annual reassessment.
* Effectively manage staffing resources, ensuring safe staffing levels and efficient deployment of staff through rota management.
* Monitor care staff hours and authorise timesheets in the absence of the Home Manager.
* Build strong, positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
* Support the completion of staff inductions, mandatory training, and ongoing professional development programmes.
* Identify additional training needs and contribute to the development of a highly skilled workforce.
* Assist with implementing and monitoring action plans arising from inspections, audits, and internal quality reviews.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, dignity, respect, and person-centred care throughout the home.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* An active NMC Pin (RGN/RMN).
* Previous experience in a senior nursing or leadership role within a care home setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
* The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
* A proactive and positive approach to leadership and problem-solving.
* A commitment to delivering exceptional care and achieving the highest standards of resident wellbeing.
* The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
