Lead Product Planner

The Baker Hughes internal title for this role is: Project Management Specialist - Project Planning.
Responsibilities
* Scheduling Management: oversee overall project schedule, ensuring logic, clarity and accuracy, updating dates, reflecting scope of supply.
* Coordinating: collaborate with product line planners, engineering planners, engineering, procurement and manufacturing to ensure schedule quality and accuracy.
* Supporting Project Management: provide visibility on look‑aheads, schedule risks and mitigation actions, opportunities, and serve as the right‑hand to the project manager.
* Reporting: provide relevant reports to project management to enable informed decisions and on‑time, on‑budget execution.
* Customer Interaction: provide schedule updates and explain current situation, challenges and opportunities to the customer.
* Process Improvement: adhere to approved processes and proactively drive implementation of initiatives that lead to fully integrated planning.
Qualifications
* Bachelor or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Experience in planning, ideally in the oil and gas/subsea industry or a related large‑scale mechanical manufacturing or controls equipment environment.
* Knowledge of Oracle MRP is a plus.
* Ability to understand the status of a project and link schedule to execution reality.
* Skill to quickly understand risks and opportunities and drive appropriate actions.
* Strong expertise in planning large projects using Primavera P6.
* High energy and motivation to deliver and make a difference.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to collaborate with planners and interact with a broad team.
