Overall Objective
To provide effective financial management across a range of projects, ensuring accurate measurement, valuation, and cash flow control. The role is focused on post-contract activities and requires proactive oversight of all commercial aspects.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the timely and accurate measurement and valuation of works, while overseeing compliance by other team members
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project activities
* Attend valuation meetings with client representatives as required, or ensure appropriate team members are in attendance
* Produce financial forecasts and reports for assigned projects
* Oversee the procurement and management of subcontractors, including the approval of subcontract orders and payments
* Assess and certify subcontractor valuations and payments
* Support and mentor the quantity surveying team to help achieve company objectives
* Process weekly payments for direct labour and plant subcontractors
* Prepare bills of quantities and take-offs for the estimating department during tender submissions
