About this Role Are you a Class 1 Driver, HGV Driver or LGV Driver looking for a stable, professional driving role within a respected Truck and Trailer rental business? As a Class 1 Driver with Dawsongroup, you will play a key part in keeping our rental operation moving by delivering and collecting vehicles safely and professionally across customer sites and branches. Delivering and collecting HGV vehicles and trailers to and from customer sites, branches and workshops. Presenting vehicles for MOT and supporting fleet movements between locations. Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting before every journey. Ensuring all vehicles are parked securely in line with company security policy. Supporting the branch with additional duties such as check in and check out, vehicle cleaning and occasional internal driving requests. About You You are a professional, safety conscious driver who takes pride in your work and represents the business well when meeting customers. You understand the importance of compliance, road safety and maintaining high standards, and you bring a flexible approach to varied daily journeys. Hold a current, valid UK LGV or HGV Class 1 licence. Hold a current, valid UK Driver Qualification Card. Confident completing basic paperwork and defect reports accurately. Committed to safe systems of work and following Health and Safety policies. Polite, presentable and professional when interacting with customers.
