Your Role
As an optical manager at Asda, you will lead the optical department, ensuring the team has the resources and support needed to deliver high quality patient service. Your responsibilities include managing the optical team, overseeing compliance processes, reviewing sales forecasting and department targets, and handling customer queries. You will also manage clinic operations and shop‑floor processes to meet customer needs.
About You
You will have experience in a fast‑paced optics environment and be able to coach and develop your team. Strong organisational and time‑management skills are essential, as is the ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of the department.
You'll Be
* A fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC
* On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
* Confident in coaching others
* Capable of providing excellent customer and patient care
* Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets
* Proficient in leadership and team management within a rapid optical setting
* Organised and able to manage your time effectively
