Food & Beverage Operations Manager
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland (Eglantine Avenue)
Contract: Full-time | 40-45 hours per week (Monday-Sunday, rota-based)
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum
VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded hotel in Belfast to recruit a Food & Beverage Operations Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and forward-thinking hospitality business in a leadership role, overseeing daily operations across a vibrant bar, restaurant, and busy events space.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day operations across all food and beverage areas, ensuring seamless service delivery.
* Deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintaining the highest service and hospitality standards.
* Support menu development, supplier relationships, and stock management.
* Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing Food & Beverage team.
* Implement and uphold SOPs, departmental policies, and performance targets.
* Drive operational efficiency and profitability.
* Foster a culture of teamwork, communication, and accountability.
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
* Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports on KPIs.
About You
* Proven experience in a Food & Beverage leadership role within a busy hospitality environment.
* Strong operational knowledge of restaurant, bar, and event functions.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills with a commercial mindset.
* Strong communication, organisational, and financial management abilities.
* Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Physically able to work on your feet for extended periods and lift light to moderate loads.
