Job title: Head of Event Operations – London Catering Company
Salary: Up to £55k + Bonus
Location: London
We are working with a fast-growing London catering company seeking a Head of Event Operations to lead multi-site event delivery and drive operational excellence. This is a senior leadership role overseeing high-volume, complex events across corporate, private, and large-scale productions—combining strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end event operations across multiple venues and sites
* Manage and develop a team of Event Managers and freelance staff
* Oversee scheduling, resource planning, and operational delivery
* Drive consistency in service standards, processes, and guest experience
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and licensing
* Build strong relationships with clients, venues, and suppliers
* Collaborate with sales, kitchen, and logistics teams
* Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
* Identify efficiencies and drive continuous operational improvement
About You
* Proven experience in a senior event operations role within catering or hospitality
* Strong leadership experience managing large, multi-site teams
* Excellent organisational and project management skills
* Confident client-facing communicator
* Calm, solutions-focused under pressure
* Strong understanding of event logistics, staffing, and compliance
