About the role
* Provide specialist one-on-one counselling, support, and advocacy for children and adults who have experienced recent or historical sexual assault.
* Deliver crisis response within the Tamworth Hospital Emergency Department, coordinating care for individuals who have been recently assaulted.
* Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, NSW Police, and the Department of Communities and Justice to ensure clients receive holistic, timely, and compassionate support.
You’ll work alongside a supportive team of Sexual Assault Counsellors and allied health professionals who share your commitment to person-centred, trauma-informed care.

Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Counselling, or Psychology with eligibility for membership to the AASW or Australian Counselling Association ACA or registration as a Psychologist with the APHRA

* To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
