Role: IT Service Desk Analyst Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum Location: Manchester About the Organisation We are a large, established Managed Service Provider delivering a comprehensive range of technical and professional support services to organisations across the North of England. Our teams specialise in IT, HR, Finance, Safeguarding, Payroll and more, working from a modern, well-connected office with excellent facilities. You will deliver remote and onsite technical assistance across a wide range of client environments, working on a fast-paced service desk with exposure to varied infrastructures and technologies. You'll also have opportunities to work alongside senior engineers on installations, upgrades and projects, supported by ongoing training to enhance your technical skillset. What You Will Bring * Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset * A solid understanding of server and network fundamentals * The ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues * Previous MSP or multi-site support experience (advantageous) * Experience supporting schools or education clients is beneficial but not required Key Technical Skills * Microsoft Windows Server and desktop environments * Active Directory (user management, Group Policy, software/printer deployment) * Device deployment, configuration and support * Hardware fault finding and resolution (servers, laptops, desktops, printers) * Experience with A/V technologies (touchscreens, projectors, interactive panels) * Network support, management, diagnostics and auditing Benefits: * Over average annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas office closure * Local Government Pension Scheme membership * Free onsite parking * Strong training and career development pathways
