About the role:
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing environment where your expertise will make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality maintenance support for production equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.
Monitor, record, and report unplanned breakdowns, highlighting any machinery performance concerns to the line manager.
Drive improvements in productivity by implementing and maintaining an effective Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) program.
Manage procurement and stock levels of machinery and facilities spare parts.
Assist with installation, relocation, and setup of machinery assets as required.
Collaborate on projects aimed at improving efficiency, workflow, and supporting capital investment initiatives.
Provide reliable facilities maintenance support across the business.
Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and effective maintenance solutions.
Actively promote a safe working environment by identifying and addressing health and safety concerns.
Support production and quality teams with root cause analysis and defect investigation.
Offer flexibility to cover annual leave and meet operational priorities.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic fault finding within a high-volume manufacturing setting.
Skilled in machine setup and parameter adjustments to achieve optimal product quality.
Experience creating safety risk assessments, PUWER assessments, and work instructions.
Knowledge of lean methodologies (5S) and problem-solving tools (Pareto, root cause analysis, countermeasures).
