Junior Account Executive – Manchester. Location: Manchester. Salary: £27,000 base + £7,000–£10,000 OTE. Type: Full-time, Permanent.
The Role
This is a phone-based role focused on outbound outreach. You’ll be responsible for identifying potential clients, making the first contact, and qualifying leads for the wider sales or account team. You’ll gain hands-on experience in business development, lead generation, and relationship building—the foundation of a successful career in commercial roles.
Key Responsibilities
* Make outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce the business and its services
* Qualify leads and set up meetings or follow-up calls for senior team members
* Research and build prospect lists using available tools and platforms
* Maintain accurate records of activity and outcomes in the CRM
* Follow up on warm leads and previous conversations to keep pipelines active
* Work towards individual and team-based outreach targets
What We're Looking For
* Confident and articulate communicator, especially on the phone
* Comfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection
* Driven, goal-oriented, and self-motivated
* Quick to learn and open to coaching and feedback
* Organised and able to manage your own workflow
* A positive, energetic attitude and professional manner
