Job Summary
Occupational Therapist – Part‑time Band 6 Senior Forensic Occupational Therapist joining the Specialist Community Forensic Pathway in North Lincolnshire. This role supports secure forensic services, providing high‑quality occupational therapy to patients as they progress towards reintegration into community settings.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct risk assessments and maintain patient and staff safety.
* Carry out MOHO assessments, develop evidence‑based treatment plans and evaluate outcomes using TOMS and MOHOST.
* Manage a varied and complex caseload, providing client‑centred occupational therapy interventions.
* Engage patients in the co‑production of their care plans and evaluate OT treatment interventions.
* Record treatment progress and produce CPA reports via the clinical system.
* Lead junior or non‑registered staff and students through supervision and appraisal.
* Contribute to the planning, development and evaluation of the service.
* Act as a key member of the multidisciplinary team and support education of occupational therapy students.
* Deliver specialist skill presentations for professional development.

Qualifications & Experience
* Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
* Registration with the HCPC
* Broad understanding of relevant policy and legislation drivers applied to practice
* Specialist knowledge of OT models of practice, standardised assessments and evidence‐based usage
* Basic IT skills
* Experience as a competent practice educator with up‑to‑date SLiP training
* Completed preceptorship programme
* Appropriate knowledge/experience of working in the relevant service area
* Understanding of caseload management clinical responsibilities
