As part of the care team, you’ll provide a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional and daily care needs are met. This is a challenging but highly rewarding role where you will make a genuine difference to the lives of vulnerable children. What You’ll Need * A relevant Level 3 qualification (or willingness to work towards one). * Minimum 1 year’s experience working with children or young people. * A caring, resilient and professional approach to supporting children with complex needs. * Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Key Responsibilities * Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing at all times. * Provide high-quality care and act as a positive role model. * Contribute to care planning, reviews and record-keeping. * Support children individually and in groups to develop confidence, life skills and positive relationships. * Organise and take part in activities and day-to-day routines. * Maintain professional communication with colleagues, agencies and families. * Act on safeguarding concerns immediately and appropriately. * Work flexibly, including sleep-ins, weekends and evenings.
