About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and dedicated Registered Manager to lead one of our eight Children’s Homes. This role is based in Exeter or Okehampton. Okehampton is an established two-bedroom home, and Exeter will be a new home with three beds. You’ll be at the heart of a committed team within Devon’s Children’s Social Care, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for children and young people.
As Registered Manager, you’ll:
* Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding care and support.
* Ensure the home operates in line with individual care plans and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with professionals across services to achieve the best outcomes.
* Champion a child-centred approach and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a proven leader with:
* Experience managing a children's home and creating a warm, welcoming environment.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and management skills.
* A deep understanding of high-quality care, safeguarding, and quality assurance.
* Up-to-date knowledge of childcare legislation, Ofsted regulations, and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
* A QCF Level 5 diploma (or willingness to undertake it).
* A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and business insurance.
