We are One YMCA - a registered charity and housing association delivering community-based services across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Bedfordshire. Every year, we support over 57,000 young people to belong, contribute, and thrive.
As part of our rapidly expanding team of more than 100 employees, we are now recruiting a Supported Housing Worker to join our High Wycombe service.

• Actively engage with residents to ensure they gain the maximum benefit from their stay at One YMCA.
• Work towards agreed Key Performance Indicators and performance objectives, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
• Support each resident to develop the independent living skills they need to move on to more independent accommodation.
• Promote residents’ wellbeing by supporting their mental health, ensuring their safety, and encouraging greater independence in line with individual support plans.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key partners and stakeholders, keeping them informed of resident pathways and support needs.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Experience of working with vulnerable individuals and/or people with a history of homelessness.
• A qualification in a related field (e.g., housing, social care).
• Knowledge of mental health and substance-related issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage others and deliver clear, effective messages.
• Flexibility to work shifts between 08:00–22:00, including weekends and bank holidays, on a rota basis.
