Painter & Decorator (Full-Time, PAYE)

Pay: £13.30 per hour (PAYE) with annual review and progression
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch)
About us
We’re a new, quality-driven decorating company serving homes and businesses across Flintshire and nearby. We use low-VOC products and dust-controlled methods as standard. Tools and PPE/RPE are provided—your craft and care are what matter.
The role
You’ll deliver tidy, professional decorating work on residential and light commercial projects. Typical tasks include:
* Surface prep (cleaning, filling, sanding with M-class extraction)
* Masking/protection and clean edges
* Painting walls/ceilings/woodwork to a high finish
* Minor lining/wallpaper where required
* Snagging and client sign-off
* Site housekeeping and basic paperwork (photos, job notes)

* Training in lead-safe and dust-controlled methods

What you bring
* 2+ years’ professional painting & decorating experience (or strong apprenticeship/portfolio)
* Pride in prep and finish; reliable, courteous, and organised
* Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK (required)
* Able to follow RAMS and use RPE/FFP3 where tasks generate dust
Contract type
Full-time, permanent. Monthly payroll (last working day).
