This role sits within the Sales & Commercial teams. The drivers behind our valued Roam client partnerships. What will you be doing? As a Commercial Bid Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the team with various administrative tasks. This includes but is not limited to: Proactively source new business leads through digital platforms, industry events, and targeted outreach Engage prospective clients through phone, email, and in-person meetings to promote our fully funded EV charging solutions Qualify opportunities and lead early-stage commercial conversations, tailoring value propositions to client needs Collaborate with sales, operations, and legal teams to shape compelling proposals and bid responses Track and manage the bid pipeline, ensuring timely submission of proposals and continuous improvement of win rate Support the opening and expansion of relationships across large portfolio clients as well as smaller, high-potential accounts Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and policy developments to inform sales strategy Are you? We are seeking candidates with previous experience in a similar role, as well as the following qualifications: Proven experience in a commercial, sales, or bid management role, ideally within EV, renewables, infrastructure, or technology Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate technical and financial propositions clearly Comfortable working independently to generate leads and manage pipelines Detail-oriented with strong organisational and project management capabilities Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite A passion for clean energy, sustainability, and driving the EV transition Diversity matters!
