Pay: £25,823 - £28,506 Actual per annum
£30,023 - £33,142 FTE per annum
Hours: 39 Weeks per year, 37 hours a week (term time only)

About the role
Sutton Community Academy are looking to appoint a motivated, independent, and hardworking individual to fill the post of Assistant Head of Year. This is a non‑teaching role. The successful candidate must demonstrate a proactive interest in education and a desire to support the school in achieving the best possible outcomes for all students.
The purpose of this role is to enable every student to fulfil their potential as an individual learner, effective citizen and well‑rounded individual. The Assistant Head of Year will lead a team of tutors and influence all staff, parents/carers and all stakeholders, raising aspiration and improving outcomes for all.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a good basic level of education to GCSE level (including English and Maths), sufficient ICT skills and have completed relevant courses such as coaching, mentoring and study support, and previously worked with young people.
