Role Overview
We are recruiting a Finance Lead to provide high‑quality client reporting and commercial financial support across a large, complex contract environment. This is a highly visible role, partnering closely with operational teams, Account Leadership, and Client Finance to ensure robust governance, effective cost control, and strong financial performance. This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working close to the operation, adding value through insight, analysis, and strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Client & Commercial Finance
o Build strong, trusted relationships with client operational and finance teams
o Take ownership of client financial reporting, providing clear, value‑adding commentary and insight
o Support annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, working collaboratively with the client and operations
o Ensure compliance with the commercial model (GMP), driving governance and financial discipline
o Identify savings and efficiency opportunities, supporting delivery of financial targets
o Coordinate monthly accruals and deliver accurate results to tight deadlines across multi‑site and multi‑country portfolios
* CBRE Financial Management
o Provide hands‑on financial support to the account, working closely with the Finance Contract Manager and Account Manager
o Manage and report monthly actuals, supporting GMP reconciliation and cost control
o Deliver ad‑hoc financial analysis and support business improvement projects
o Ensure finance policies and procedures are followed, escalating risks where required
o Contribute to CBRE annual budgets and quarterly forecasting cycles
* Quality & Stakeholder Engagement
o Support consistent contract delivery across regions, sharing best practice and financial innovation
o Influence decision‑making through clear insight and confident communication
o Act as a positive culture carrier, aligned to CBRE values and customer expectations
Qualifications & Requirements
* Educated to A‑Level or degree level (or equivalent)
* Part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) – desirable
* Strong commercial finance experience in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
* Excellent Excel skills (lookups, pivots, and financial modelling); confident with Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Experience working with complex contracts, GMP models, or multi‑currency environments – desirable
* Confident communicator, able to engage and influence senior stakeholders and clients
* Highly organized, detail‑focused, and comfortable managing competing priorities under pressure
* Willingness to travel as required by the role
