We have an exciting opportunity to work in a busy team in the Ipswich Community Mental Health Team.
We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn and keen to deliver in both performance and customer service.
We provide administrative support to the Ipswich CMHT clinical teams including minute taking; answering calls; sending letters; and keeping Lorenzo up-to-date, so good computer, keyboard and communication skills are essential to the role.

Main duties of the job
Provide world class administrative support to the clinical teams.
Take and process minutes for the teams.
Deal with telephone calls and general enquiries, and maintain an efficient message system coordinating with team members.
Deal with correspondence and communication liaising, prioritising and coordinating with the clinical teams.
Liaise with clinical team members in relation to urgent referrals or other emergencies.
Maintaining staff recording systems including annual leave, sick leave and Duty cover.
Liaising with maintenance and IT departments regarding problems/faults.

Qualifications
* NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent or working towards.
* NVQ 2 Customer Services or working towards.
Experience
* Understanding and experience in a full range of secretarial procedures and systems gained through practice at intermediate level.
Skills
* Excellent articulate communication skills
* ICT skills including Microsoft (especially spreadsheets and presentations, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent.
* Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise management diaries
Knowledge
* Working knowledge of Microsoft packages or equivalent
* Maintaining administrative/secretarial systems
* Knowledge of NHS policy/procedures
* Know ledge of medical terminology
