The Opportunity
A growing developer is seeking a senior leader to drive land acquisition.
You'll be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and securing land opportunities, working closely with a high-performing internal team to deliver fast, technically sound transactions. To succeed, you'll need gravitas, drive, and a proven track record of completing high-quality deals.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and acquire land opportunities, both on- and off-market
* Lead the full lifecycle of site acquisition: sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, and closure
* Work alongside planning and legal teams to ensure seamless handovers post-acquisition
* Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the land team, particularly in deal execution
* Build strong relationships with landowners, agents, and internal stakeholders to drive certainty and speed
Ideal Background
* Extensive experience in land acquisition
* Strong technical and legal knowledge of deal structuring and execution
* Demonstrable track record of closing complex land deals efficiently
* Experience managing and progressing multiple transactions simultaneously
* Leadership skills to influence, motivate, and develop a team
