Meraki Talent's market leading client based on the outskirts of Glasgow are looking to add a proactive and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our team. In this high-impact role, you'll act as a trusted advisor to operational and commercial leaders, providing insight, challenge, and clear guidance to drive performance and cost control across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a trusted advisor to operational and commercial leaders, translating financial results into actionable recommendations.
* Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles for assigned areas, reviewing, validating, and challenging assumptions.
* Maintain rolling forecasts aligned to business drivers and own the 13-week cashflow process, including weekly updates, variance analysis, risk identification, and engagement with cost centre owners.
* Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency with standards.
* Produce monthly management packs with insightful commentary and support month-end close activities.
* Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and data quality.
* Conduct detailed cost, margin, and revenue analysis to support decision-making.
* Lead modelling, scenario analysis, sensitivities, investment appraisals, and CAPEX evaluations.
* Provide clear commercial insight to support operational and strategic projects.
Experience required:
* ICAS / ACCA / CIMA Qualified or QBE
* Advanced excel skills
* Strong in forecasting including cash flow management
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Exposure to investment appraisal and CAPEX Governance
