About The Role
This position is based in our Avon studio and requires in-person collaboration that is central to our creative and community-driven design process.
You will lead and contribute to the design and development of architectural projects from concept through completion through:
* Prepare design drawings, construction documents, presentations, and other project materials using tools like Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their program requirements, project vision, and goals, translating them into functional and creative design solutions.
* Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design intent, budget, and schedule are met.
* Conduct site analysis, code research, and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
* Develop detailed construction documents and technical specifications, including material selection, detailing, and sustainable design considerations.
* Review project progress, provide guidance to junior staff, and ensure quality control on deliverables.
* Participate in client presentations, public meetings, and permitting processes to effectively communicate project goals.
* Stay informed of industry trends, emerging materials, construction methods, and design technologies to enhance project outcomes.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to design quality, budget, and schedule.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
* Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
* Experience with AutoCAD, and Microsoft 365 Suite
* Collaborative team player with a strong balance of design excellence, budget sensitivity, and schedule management
* Comprehensive understanding of emerging construction materials, methods, and technical detailing
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse clients, understand their goals, and help shape the overall project vision
* Strong graphic communication and presentation abilities, with a talent for clearly conveying design ideas
* Proven ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects at once
