Job Title: Global Content Specialist (Contract)

We are seeking a Native Level German Speaking Global Content Specialist for a 6-month contract assignment supporting international editorial and content initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to help forecast trends across fashion and beauty, food and drink, lifestyle, and more-creating inspiring, engaging content experiences for a global audience. The ideal candidate is a skilled curator and editorial expert, capable of identifying emerging trends, crafting engaging content, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality editorial programming.
What You’ll Do:
1. Support the global editorial team in executing content strategies for international markets
2. Use data-driven insights to guide editorial programming across digital platforms
3. Curate culturally relevant, trending, seasonal, and evergreen content across key lifestyle categories
4. Write clear, engaging headlines and descriptions to inspire audience interaction
5. Partner with product and design teams to optimise editorial experiences
6. Apply trend forecasting to guide content direction and maintain relevance
7. Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and refine content initiatives
8. Monitor performance using internal tools and adjust strategies based on content analytics
Skills & Experience Required:
9. 3+ years in content, editorial, or curation roles within the tech sector or other fast-paced environments
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
11. Full professional proficiency in German or native German speaker; additional language skills (English, French, etc.) are a strong advantage
12. Confident presenter with strong ability to build alignment across teams
13. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
14. Proficient in using CMS platforms and basic visual communication tools
15. Strong analytical skills with an ability to spot and act on emerging trends, especially among Gen Z audiences
16. Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
17. Passionate about editorial content with a global and culturally aware perspective
18. Experience with SQL is a plus
Additional Information:
This is a remote, UK-based contract role of 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be engaged through a third-party staffing partner. All interviews and role details, including benefits and onboarding, will be managed by the hiring team and staffing partner.
