A fantastic vacancy has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Design / Applications Engineer to join a successful refrigeration manufacturer in the East Anglia area. The role will involve assisting the Refrigeration technical manager with key roles within the business, listed below.
Role includes:
* The creation of refrigeration M&E schedules and designs.
* Produce a quotation/ cost base using software and training provided.
* Create and review specifications of refrigeration systems and components.
* Creation of designs with BREEAM standards incorporated within the design.
* Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the refrigeration specifications are feasible.
* Provide documentation related to product design to meet regulatory requirements BSEN 378.
* Utilising software to compile heat/load calculations.
* Creation and review of environmental and compliance submissions.
The successful candidate will require to have the following:
* Excellent people skills.
* Good computer literacy.
* The ability to work to tight deadlines.
* High attention to detail.
* Self‑motivated and the ability to work on your own initiative.
* Some basic CAD experience (not essential).
* C&G 2079 (not essential).
* Electrical qualification or knowledge (not essential).
* Building services degree (not essential).
Package:
Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 dependent on experience and qualifications.
25 days paid holiday + public holidays.
