Job Description:
Salary Details: BS18-21 (currently £25,435 - £27,603 pro rata)
Equivalent to £5319 - £5772 per annum
Hours of Work: Part-time - 9 hours per week worked over 38 weeks
(The College’s 36 term weeks plus 2 admin weeks)

Contract Type: Annualised hours contract - Permanent
Fractionalised posts are paid in equal amounts over 12 months and the appropriate element of holiday pay will be incorporated into the calculation.
Qualifications:
* You will hold a minimum Level 1 Rugby Coaching qualification or equivalent; however, it is highly desirable to hold a Level 2.
* It is highly desirable to hold a sport therapy/sport massage and or a strength and conditioning qualification.
* You will hold a valid First Aid Certificate. However, if not held upon commencement, you will be required to undertake and achieve within a specified timescale. Pembrokeshire College will support you to achieve this qualification and you will be given the appropriate time to attend the in-house course.
Experience:
* You will have knowledge of the sporting environment in which the academies operate and;
* You will have experience of coaching rugby.
You will have excellent communication skills and experience of working with young people and ideally players under 19 years old. You will be part of the Sports Academies Team, working with the rugby academies. You will be required to maintain accurate records, plan and organise sessions and fixtures, and monitor athletes’ progress, as well as complying with health and safety procedures/policies.
As part of the role, you will be required to transport learners to off-site sporting events at various locations using college-provided and approved vehicles.
Your working pattern based on current fixtures will be: Monday 9am-12pm, Wednesday (away game - would need to be flexible and potentially available for the day), Friday 9am-12pm. Please note, timings of games may be subject to change.
