IT Technician

£28,142 – £30,024 per annum (FTE, depending on experience)
37 hours per week
Permanent position (temporary cover may be considered)

The School and Role
Northern Lights Learning Trust are looking to appoint a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join their growing IT team, supporting multiple school sites across the Trust.
Working as part of a wider IT team and reporting to the Trust IT Lead, the successful IT Technician will provide first line support across a range of schools within the Trust (hub location: South Schools). You will play a key role in ensuring a high-quality, secure and reliable IT service that supports staff, leadership teams and pupils.
This is a full-time, permanent role, with flexibility to consider temporary cover where required.
Requirements
To be considered for the IT Technician position, you will have:
1. Experience working in an IT support or technician role (education experience desirable)
2. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
3. Confidence supporting users with varying levels of IT knowledge
4. Good understanding of hardware, software and basic networking
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills
6. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple sites
7. A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to work well within a team
