The Work Coordinator provides high-level support to the Resources & Logistics Team. Working within a team environment, this role is pivotal, offering high-quality organisational and administrative support. As the project and alliance develop, the role may involve managing various ad-hoc projects.
A day in the life of a Murphy Work Coordinator
* Ensure that alliancing behaviours and ‘best for project’ approaches are consistently followed, leading by example to ensure successful project delivery for all alliance members.
* Rostering resource requirements in accordance with employment terms and work program deadlines to meet contractual obligations.
* Develop staff rosters in compliance with SHES policies and procedures.
* Manage allocation of hours and weekend shifts, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
* Input training, annual leave, and sickness data into relevant systems.
* Establish and maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders.
* Provide administrative support to the Resources & Logistics team, including travel and hotel bookings.
* Maintain the rostering database and generate internal reports as needed.
* Assist with maintaining the long-term resource database for effective staff and resource allocation.
* Ensure the availability of qualified, skilled personnel to deliver construction works and other project activities.
* Complete and submit all necessary documentation for effective people management.
* Undertake additional duties as required, aligned with project needs and capabilities.
