With two additional branch practices in Thatcham and Tadley, we support a large and varied client base, meaning no two days are ever the same. You’ll be joining a team of experienced vets, nurses and support staff who all share the same passion for horses and their welfare. We work closely together to deliver excellent clinical standards while maintaining a warm, collaborative atmosphere where everyone supports one another. A Rewarding and Varied Role As part of our nursing team, you’ll play a key role in caring for both medical and surgical patients, assisting with anaesthesia, and ensuring the smooth journey of every patient from admission to discharge. You’ll also take part in nurse consults and provide exceptional support to clients, helping them feel confident and informed throughout their horse’s care. Our nurses enjoy a wide variety of responsibilities from inpatient care and wound management to assisting in theatre, administering medications, and supporting diagnostic imaging both in the hospital and out on the road. You’ll never be short of interesting and rewarding work. Your Skills And Experience We’re looking for someone confident and compassionate, with experience handling and caring for a wide range of horses. Previous experience with racehorses, competition horses, or foals would be an advantage, but above all, we’re seeking a team player with a genuine passion for equine nursing and patient welfare. Working Hours and Benefits This is a full-time position, working up to 39 hours per week, with participation in the weekend and bank holiday rota. The role includes some shift work, covering nights and weekends, ensuring our patients receive the best care around the clock.
