As a Motor Trade Insurance Advisor – Commercial & Road Risk, you’ll handle end-to-end road risk cases, supporting motor trade and commercial clients from enquiry through to placement. This is a role that blends client advisory work with technical broking, giving you exposure to complex risks while developing strong insurer relationships. You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues in a structured environment where learning and progression are actively encouraged. Package & Benefits • £30,000–£32,000 per annum basic salary, depending on experience, plus performance-related bonus. • Performance-related bonus linked to individual and team contribution. • Ongoing development within commercial insurance and motor trade insurance specialisms. • 9am - 5pm - Monday to Friday with no weekends. Key Responsibilities • Manage new business enquiries as a Motor Trade Insurance Advisor – Commercial & Road Risk, handling motor trade and road risk insurance cases from start to finish. • Conduct detailed fact finds and risk assessments for commercial and motor trade clients. • Prepare, present and negotiate insurance terms with insurers to secure appropriate cover. • Support retention and growth of a specialist motor trade insurance book within a Motor Trade Insurance Advisor – Commercial & Road Risk remit. About You • Previous experience in an insurance, broking or underwriting environment. • Strong understanding of insurance principles, policy wording and placement processes. • Experience in motor trade or commercial insurance is highly advantageous.
