An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Risk, Assurance and Remediation Reporting Manager to join our highly respected team within the Life Division. Reporting to the Head of First Line Risk Insight and Analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for 1) board level reporting on key initiatives impacting PAC, including Notifiable Events Remediation and Control Environment and 2) owning and driving key messages for upwards reporting as well as understanding implication across the overall RAR and PAC landscape This role will have a blended approach between working from home and our office in Stirling (2-3 days).
Key Responsibilities for this role:
1. Deliver effective reporting across Risk, Assurance and Remediation key initiatives impacting PAC to inform all relevant stakeholders.
2. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the RAR team, the wider PAC Business and M&G 1st and 2nd Line to produce reporting for delivery to relevant Boards and Committees at an Executive level.
3. Develop an understanding of the key topics being reported on to identify key themes, risks and issues for upward reporting to ensure positioning and ability to challenge content to land key messages.
4. Provide ad hoc risk support to relevant M&G Life business areas as required
5. Build constructive and supportive working relationships with the RAR team as well as wider M&G Life teams to assist in developing a coordinated approach to reporting.
6. Presentation of all key RAR topics and associated Management Information at various committees across PAC.
7. Maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders across all business units.
8. Drive / lead enhancements and ways of working to optimise RAR reporting across PAC.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
9. Knowledge of risk in Financial Services and experience with development and production of board-level reporting.
10. Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
11. Collaborative nature, with ability to work effectively with colleagues across PAC.
12. Curious and continually looking to seek out improvements in ways of working to facilitate upwards reporting.
13. Strong written and verbal communication skills to an Executive, Board and Committee level.
14. Demonstrates analytical thinking and is a critical evaluation of information/issues.
15. Strong drive and delivery, committed to achieving results ad delivering on time.
