Job description
We are recruiting on behalf of our service user who requires a Care Assistant to provide support for a lady with a disability in her own home. The role involves assisting with various daily activities as part of her routine. The position is for ten hours per week, spread over four days. An Access NI check will be completed by the employer. Responsibilities
* Responsibilities include meal preparation, light housework, home help, collecting medications, and providing support to attend social activities.
* At this time, no personal care is required.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Applicants must have a full clean driving licence and access to a car, as transport is required to appointments and social outings.
* The ability to lift a manual wheelchair into the car boot is essential.
* Applicants should be punctual, caring, with good communication skills and respect for confidentiality.
Desirable Skills
* Previous care experience is preferred but not essential.
* Manual Handling and Basic First Aid training can be arranged if needed.
