We have an immediate opening for Full & Part‑Time Sales Floor Team Members to join our dynamic team! This position reports to the Store Manager.


Responsibilities & Duties

* Models and delivers outstanding customer service.
* Greet and connect with customers on the shop floor and guide them through our store tour while providing an engaging and interactive store experience.
* Actively listen to customers and answer their questions by being highly knowledgeable and confident about menu and other store items.
* Support in the maintenance of a neat and tidy store presentation to ensure a positive shopping experience.
* Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality service, cash handling, and store safety and security.
* Arrive on time, be appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
* Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
* Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
* Maintain or ensure maintenance of a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintain equipment cleanliness, repair, and safety standards.
* Immediately report safety hazards.
* Perform any additional tasks assigned by leadership.


Requirements

* Previous retail experience preferred in a food‑centric environment.
* Must have open availability.
* Showcase good leadership skills to provide support to team members.
* High energy, enthusiastic, and display an affinity for Haymarket products, core values, and company philosophy.
* Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues and provide appropriate solutions.
* Visually examine products and quality for freshness.
* Deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow team members, customers, and vendors.
* Follow directions and procedures, effective time management and organization skills.
* Basic math skills.
* Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
* Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a sense of urgency.
* Must have the flexibility to work weekends and at working hours.


Physical Requirements

* Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
* Standing/walking 6‑8 hours.
* Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
* Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
* Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
* Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
* Ability to use ladders.
