Program & Location: Plymouth Inpatient, ATS/CSS/Section 35 Units
Education: Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Pay Range: $21 - $26/hr depending on experience
Status: Full Time, Tuesday to Saturday 3pm-11pm

About Us
High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Working Lead Recovery Specialist Requirements
* Knowledge of substance use disorders and mental health issues alike, and common practices used to treat addiction;
* Must present as courteous and professional at all times;
* Proficient and knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs, including the ability to learn, use and train HPAO’s electronic health records;
* Ability to lead and instruct staff, while enforcing rules and redirecting any observed inappropriate conduct efficiently;
* Understand and maintain therapeutic boundaries and ethics at all times by setting limits in a respectful manner;
* Ability to problem solve in patient crisis by using verbal de-escalation skills and other practices;
* Ability to assess and resolve scheduling, training, and personnel issues;
* Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing;
* Compliance with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Substance Use Confidentiality and HIPAA Regulations;
* CPR certification;
* TB/Flu and Covid-19 Assessment.
Working Lead Recovery Specialist Duties & Responsibilities
* Provides support as needed on the monthly RS schedule and assists the RS Supervisor to fill any and all call outs for that shift;
* If unable to find coverage for call outs during shift, will perform all floor Recovery Specialist duties as necessary;
* Provides written input and clear communication to the RS Supervisor on any on-going staff performance issues and all shift reports;
* Performs and assures completion of staff training, new hire orientation and competencies for Recovery Specialists;
* Resolves all Recovery Specialist related issues on the shift and consults the RS Supervisor and/or the Program Director or Campus Supervisor of any emergencies;
* Completes admissions with clients, including paperwork, searching client property for contraband and log in valuables, and assisting nursing;
* Maintains professionalism and communicates effectively and collaboratively with all HPTC staff and team members;
* Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competency by attending all required staff meetings and mandatory trainings;
* Perform any other duties as assigned by the RS Supervisor or Site Director.
Working Lead Recovery Specialist Qualifications
* Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED);
* Minimum of two years supervised experience in substance use treatment or a closely related field.
