As an Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 3–5 within a school-based nursery setting. Working closely with the class teacher and EYFS team, you will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting children’s learning through play and planned activities
* Assisting with personal care and hygiene routines
* Observing and recording children’s progress
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Collaborating with staff and parents to support individual needs
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Enthusiastic, caring, and patient
* Experienced in working with early years children (nursery or reception)
* Knowledgeable of the EYFS framework
* A team player with excellent communication skills
* Ideally qualified to Level 2 or 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)
* Competitive daily rates
* Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
