Im supporting a client in the search for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across EMEA and APAC, while nurturing a portfolio of established accounts. This is a high-impact external sales role suited to someone who thrives on travel, relationship building, and opening new markets. Youll work closely with internal teams and global distributors to deliver strategic expansion and maximise revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Generate new business through proactive field sales and territory development.
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients, strengthening long-term partnerships.
Work with distributors and engage directly with end users to present product value and drive demand.
Lead strategic growth initiatives across the UK and Europe, with involvement in global markets including Asia, Australasia, and the USA.
Collaborate with internal sales teams to coordinate meetings, develop leads, and align on strategy.
Maintain accurate sales reporting and pipeline management through CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
Support new product initiatives, including product testing and market feedback.
Attend international trade shows and industry events.
Take part in weekly sales meetings to review performance and plan next steps.
Demonstrate high levels of self-motivation, accountability, and organisation.
Requirements Proven experience in an external sales or business development role.
Strong understanding of distribution-led sales and influencing end-user demand.
CRM proficiency (HubSpot advantageous).
Ability and willingness to travel frequently across Europe, with occasional global travel.
Valid passport with no travel restrictions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Highly organised, self-driven, and comfortable working independently.
Strong reporting, planning, and pipeline-management skills.
Desired Experience Previous experience within a technical, industrial, or machinery-related sales environment.
Experience collaborating with distributors and supporting their sales activities.
