A growing and busy law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer to join its expanding Residential Property team based in Widnes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated conveyancer to join a supportive and collaborative environment with flexibility around hybrid working arrangements.
The Role
You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, handling transactions efficiently while delivering high standards of client care.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
* Handling freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, and remortgages
* Reviewing contracts, titles, searches, and raising enquiries
* Reporting to clients on transaction matters and legal documentation
* Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents, and third parties
* Preparing files for exchange and completion
* Ensuring compliance with SDLT, Land Registry, CQS, and firm procedures
* Maintaining accurate file management and case management records
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with 2+ years’ PQE, or an experienced Conveyancer with 5+ years’ experience
* Strong residential conveyancing experience
* Ability to manage a caseload independently
* Excellent communication and client-care skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
