Hands on Finance Manager required to join a well established business in Derby, managing and developing a small team, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting and Business partnering with sales and operations.Client Details£10m t/o engineering business with a strong heritage in Derby but with an international footprint and ambitious growth plansDescriptionLead the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting across group entities including finance slides and commentary for monthly board deck with support of the Management Accountant* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements * Manage year-end processes and liaise with external auditors Commercial Finance* Maintain 13 week cashflow forecast* Manage weekly trading deck preparation Team Leadership* Manage and develop a small finance team (AP, AR, Mgmt Accountant and junior finance staff)* Drive a high-performance culture with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and commercial awareness Systems & Controls* Oversee financial systems and process improvements, including ERP and integrations* Maintain strong financial controls including monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and risk management processes* Maintain efficient cash collections and control over retails and online cash receipts* Ensure accurate stock reporting across the business on a monthly basis.* Support continuing development of finance systems where applicableProfileYou will be a Qualified, hands on Finance manager / Head of Finance with proven team management experience within an SME.Commercially minded, a natural problem solver and capable of effectively partnering with a range of senior stakeholders in the UK and overseas, based a commutable distance from DerbyJob Offer55-60k plus benefitsDesired Skills and ExperienceACA / ACCA / CIMA Team management, ERP, Costing, Stock, transfer pricing
