Job Description:
Support Worker Childrens Residential Care
Hours - from 24 hrs up to full time 38hrs per week
Days and Wake Night contracts available
We are seeking experienced Support workers for our Childrens Residential Care home in the heart of a residential area to provide a warm, supportive environment, caring for children ages 5-18 with learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD, and other complex needs. Shift Details:
Days includes a mix of early shifts, late shifts, long days, OR Wake Nights
Includes alternate weekend shifts
Responsibilities:
Provide a caring, consistent home environment for each young person
Empower children to achieve goals, build confidence, and develop independence
Serve as a positive role model
Promote equality and diversity
Ensure all health, educational, and care needs are met
Qualifications & Experience
Hold or be willing to work towards Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Diploma for Children and Young Peoples Workforce.
Experience with children with moderate to severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities, Autism, ADHD, complex needs and related behavioural challenges.
