Key Responsibilities
* Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and inspections to manufacturer and DVSA standards
* Diagnose faults across mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
* Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and maintain high pass rates
* Complete job cards and time recording accurately
* Support planned maintenance schedules across the fleet
* Ensure all work is completed safely and cost-effectively
* Travel between sites when required
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
Skills & Experience Required
* Recognised apprenticeship in motor vehicle or plant engineering
* Experience working as an HGV Mechanic or similar role
* Strong understanding of pneumatic braking systems
* Confident carrying out electrical fault finding and repairs
* Ability to inspect vehicles to xsngvjr MOT standards
* Good organisation and communication skills
* Flexible attitude with willingness to learn new skills
* Full UK Driving Licence required
