If so, we have a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager working from our retail store in Cullompton up to Bridgwater.
This is a full-time, field-based role that involves managing existing accounts, gaining new business, and providing support on farm for feed, fertiliser, and other agricultural supplies. You should have previous sales experience in the sector and be familiar with the territory.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop sales in line with set targets across the product and service portfolio.
* Understand and promote the company's range of products and services.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the Mole Valley Farmers Group.
* Participate in business review meetings and training sessions.
* Serve existing clients and develop new accounts.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Successful sales experience within the agricultural sector, motivated by targets, with a positive attitude.
* Knowledge of agriculture and empathy with farming communities.
* Financial acumen, experience with finance tools, and ability to close high-value deals.
* Interest in current and future precision technologies or a background in farm management.
* Well-organized, self-motivated, and thorough in territory coverage.
* Proficient in IT and familiar with Microsoft Office and sales systems.
