Panel Beater
Location: Bellshill Salary: £45,630 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am 4:30pm (45 hours per week)
We are recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater to join a well-established commercial vehicle and fleet maintenance business in Bellshill.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out accident damage repairs to commercial vehicles and trailers
Complete panel repairs and bodywork rectification to a high standard
Undertake off-site repairs at customer locations when required
Identify additional repair requirements and report findings promptly
Ensure efficient use of parts, materials and repair methods
Complete all job cards and workshop documentation accurately
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Wear and maintain PPE in accordance with company policies
Work independently when required and follow lone-working procedures
Requirements
Previous experience as a Panel Beater, HGV Panel Beater or Commercial Vehicle Body Repair Technician
Experience repairing commercial vehicle bodywork
Strong understanding of panel repair techniques
Basic knowledge of paint products and application methods
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
Desirable
Municipal vehicle experience
Mechanical knowledge
LGV Class 1 Licence
