Civil Engineering Opportunities in the Water Sector - Expression of Interest - UK
Our UK and Ireland water business is the centre of excellence for responding to water and wastewater challenges, offering opportunities in diverse and technically complex projects. We work at the forefront of ensuring safe water supplies and protecting river and marine ecology. We have a strong track record in AMP8 frameworks and deliver a wide variety of engineering and advisory projects helping address sector needs.
Responsibilities
* Working across multiple UK and Ireland water companies.
* Being part of multi-disciplinary design teams in project delivery.
* Preparing design submissions to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
* Undertaking studies, concept, preliminary and detailed design.
* Collaborating with clients and other stakeholders.
Essential
* Civil Engineering degree
* Chartered or near chartered status (ICE or equivalent)
* Water and/or wastewater engineering design experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Understanding of the importance of prioritising health, safety, and environmental issues
* Proactive approach, with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios
Desirable
* Strong digital capability
* Project management experience is not essential but beneficial
