Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Locksmith to join team, a motivated person with proven experience and leadership skills. The position will include going out on jobs within the Cambridgeshire area. We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual who is confident in dealing with others, who looks at every job with the opportunity of gaining extra revenue and is skillful and precise in everything they do. Customer service is extremely important in this role, they will be responsible for their own company van, to make sure stock is kept up to date and tools, paperwork and other items are kept tidy so that they are easy to locate when out on the road.
Duties
* Manage jobs coming in.
* Make sure book work is kept up to date.
* Monitor stock levels.
* Go out on jobs yourself.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
* Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while performing duties.
Qualifications
* Proven experience of at least 2 years as a Locksmith and or Glazier
* Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools related to glazing work.
* Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations relevant to glazing installations.
* Confidence in upselling is a bonus.
* Familiarity with British Standard Locks is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Possess strong leadership skills.
