Pure Search are instructed on a rare opportunity for a Finance or Commercial Associate looking to move into a media-focused finance and production legal role.
Our client is one of the leading names globally in the media space, advising Oscar-winning producers, major international production studios, sports media rights companies, international streamers and leading broadcasters.
They are at the heart of the media industry, advising on some of the most prominent media deals globally, providing both strategic and funding advice concerning a range of productions. This has included advising some of the most prominent TV studios in the UK and US, advising Hollywood actors in respect of non-front of camera work, and advising the BBC on a range of productions.
Advising at all stages of the media production, investment and distribution process, responsibilities will include:
Advising producers and financiers on the structuring of multi-party deals, co-productions and a range of complex financing arrangements;
Advising on a range of VOD and SVOD services, and considering the role of AI in the changing shape of the media industry.
You will be an England & Wales qualified Solicitor with a background in either project finance (preferred), media finance (preferred), general banking & finance or a commercial role with exposure to media clients.
You will be at a stage of your career where you're actively pursuing a long-term move in the media space and it would ideally suit a candidate at a larger City or international law firm looking for a new challenge and something more creative, dynamic and entrepreneurial.
