Recruit4staff are representing a leading civil engineering business in their search for a Commercial Manager to work in Seascale Job Details: Pay: Circa £90,000 (Negotiable depending on skillset and experience) Hours of Work: Full Time, Monday to Friday, Days (45 hours) Duration: Permanent Benefits: Car allowance £6,325, 8% employer pension contribution, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Job Role: As Commercial Manager, you will oversee all commercial, contractual, and financial management activities for a major civils and infrastructure package within a complex and highly regulated setting. You will ensure that commercial processes, cost management systems, and contract controls are robust, compliant, and aligned with NEC procedures. Working alongside project managers, planners, engineers, supply chain partners, and regulatory stakeholders, you will lead commercial governance, cost forecasting, compensation event management, subcontract administration, change control, reporting, and risk/commercial strategy. You will play a critical role in ensuring commercial assurance, value protection, accurate financial reporting, and successful commercial outcomes across all phases of the project. This Commercial Manager role requires a commercially focused leader with strong NEC expertise and experience on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
