We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of eCommerce to join our Marketing and Digital Leadership Team. Reporting to the Marketing and Digital Director, you will manage the eCommerce team and key partners, responsible for sales performance, customer experience, and the development and optimisation of the eCommerce platform.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Enhance the customer experience by creating an intuitive and frictionless sales process that drives business growth.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Digital, Merchandising, Commercial, Design, and external partners to improve the platform's features and functionalities.
3. Achieve key targets such as ease and retention of customer orders, basket size growth, differentiation from competitors, transformation based on customer trends, and ongoing digitisation of sales.
What we are looking for:
1. Deep understanding of ecommerce best practices, sales funnels, and online customer behaviors.
2. Proven experience in a similar role with strong analytical skills to use data and customer insights for optimization.
3. Experience collaborating with designers and developers to create user-friendly interfaces.
4. Leadership experience, including guiding, training, and motivating a team to meet ecommerce objectives.
5. Ability to manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to execution.
