About The Casual Senior Support Worker Role
* Location: Preston
* Essential: This role requires a Diploma or Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent in Adult Care.
* Hours: Zero contracted hours. As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary.
* Pay: £13.50ph plus additional sleepovers paid at £64 per night.
What we are looking for in our Casual Senior Support Worker
* Significant experience of supporting people with complex needs and a real desire to work with an excellent and positive team.
* Demonstrable organisational, leadership, and communication skills; willingness to work closely with colleagues and Team Leaders to ensure effective and smooth running of the Service.
* Assist the Team Leader in the supervision and development of specialist staff, management of service rotas, and delivery of support packages.
* Flexibility to work evenings, alternate weekends, and take responsibility of the on-call service on a shared rota basis.
* Ready to take on management responsibilities as well as hands‑on support, with opportunity for personal development in a first‑level management position.
