FM Conway has a fantastic opportunity to join our business as a Service Director overseeing our Transport for London – HMPF contract where you will be helping to further grow and develop our operations across the TfL Business Unit. We are looking for an experienced and collaborative leader who can combine operational excellence with strong people leadership, relationship building, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This permanent, full-time position is based at our Beddington Lane depot in Croydon, Greater London but due to the nature of the contract, various meetings could be held at a number of locations.
The duties of the Service Director – Transport for London will include:
1. Directing and overseeing operations within the TfL HMPF Business Unit, ensuring delivery aligns with company plans, strategic objectives, and agreed budgets
2. Playing an active role in the development and implementation of company strategy, working closely with the Managing Director and Board to support long-term business objectives
3. Developing and managing Business Unit plans, operational strategies, and financial budgets to support performance, efficiency, and service delivery
4. Delivering HMPF core works and contractual obligations, including emergency, reactive, and cyclical maintenance activities across the network
