Join our team today.We're looking for a hands-on and motivated Field Operations Technician to join our team, supporting the maintenance of water storage assets and delivery of environmental and biodiversity initiatives.This is a varied, practical role where no two days are the same-you'll be working across our operational sites ensuring high standards of maintenance, safety, and environmental stewardship.What You'll Be DoingIn this role, you will be responsible for: Maintaining external and treated water storage assetsCarrying out grounds maintenance, including grass cutting at production sitesOperating large plant and equipment such as tractors and loadersPerforming routine equipment checks and reporting defectsCompleting fencing repairs and installationCleaning tanks and reservoirs, including sterilisation activitiesSetting up, operating, and dismantling temporary pumping equipmentCarrying out basic tree surgery (e.g. limb removal, clearing fallen trees)Supporting deliveries with loading and unloading materialsUndertaking general labouring duties as requiredThis is a physically active role, predominantly based outdoors or within tanks and vessels, which involves working at height using ladders and stairs as well as in confined spaces.
The position requires a good level of physical fitness due to occasional heavy lifting, and you will be required to use breathing apparatus at times.
